ST. ALFONSO MARIA FUSCO COMMUNITY

The community is engaged in the pastoral Ministry of the Diocese of Ballarat both in the Parochial and Diocesan levels.

At the Parochial level, the community reaches out to the parishioners within the various areas of the Parish for Bible or Faith sharing, conducted among the different groups of Australian and Filipinos; giving communion to the sick and elderly in the hospitals, nursing home and those who are homebound; assisting in the liturgical life of the parish through weekend liturgical animations; ministry of presence during various sacramental celebrations.  

At the Diocesan level, the community serves in the implementation of the RCIA Program of the Diocese of Ballarat; giving assistance in the celebration of the sacraments of the different parishes of the Diocese; Visitation and Ministry of presence to parishes and churches where very few people are going for mass; organize Bible or faith sharing and catechism among Filipino families in the various parishes of the same Diocese; give recollections; and work as a member of the Liturgical Commission of the Diocese of Ballarat.
